01What the family wanted
The old apartment had stained walls, low ceilings and glaring lights. The family wanted a brighter home that is easy to clean and feels more spacious, without major demolition.
02How we finished it
Cracks in the walls and ceilings were repaired, then skim-coated smooth and painted a warm white. Light wood flooring runs continuously from the living room into the hallway so the home doesn't feel divided.
- Gypsum ceiling with recessed light coves for soft, glare-free lighting
- Oak stair handrail, sanded smooth and oil-finished
- Double-layer voile curtains to adjust the brightness throughout the day

03Handover
Each item went through inspection & acceptance with the owners before work moved on. Once finished, the home was cleaned thoroughly and ready to move into.
