Hưng Thịnh hands over the Heritage Tree Villa in Hue
After 11 months of construction, the home designed around an 80-year-old camphor tree is now officially in its owners' hands.

On October 18, Hưng Thịnh handed over the Heritage Tree Villa on the banks of the Perfume River to Mr. Lâm's family. This is a project the whole team holds dear, because the entire house was designed to keep a camphor tree more than 80 years old right in the middle of the plot.
Saving the tree, but not at any cost
From the very start, we brought in an arborist to survey the root system. The foundation was switched to small piles placed outside the main root zone. Some sections of wall were set back an extra 1.5 m to give the canopy room to grow.
Handover day
The handover took place right under the tree. The family and the construction team checked every item together against the inspection list, then shared their first meal in the central courtyard.

After handover
Hưng Thịnh will come back to inspect the house after 6 months and 12 months, and will keep an eye on the tree's health through its first two rainy seasons.
